City of New Smyrna Beach experiencing commercial growth; outlook for 2017

The City of New Smyrna Beach is experiencing an influx of new commercial development concentrated on the State Road 44 corridor. With the addition of the New Smyrna Beach Chevy and Ford dealership, construction is also underway for the Dodge/Chrysler dealership as well as a Verizon Wireless retail store recently opening at the Timberlane/SR44 intersection.

According to the City of New Smyrna Beach’s January 2017 Development Activity Report, a permit was issued in November for a new Autozone car parts store; a new Circle K gas station at the Glencoe Road/SR 44 intersection where “Buddy World” was located; and a meeting to discuss a RaceTrac fuel station across from Walmart.

Other interesting development news includes a meeting being held for a proposed Hyatt Place hotel in the prior Outback Steakhouse plaza.

The future is bright for the New Smyrna Beach area and it’s no surprise the appeal for current and future residents! Call me today for any of your real estate needs – Susan Logan, Realtor with Monahan & Associates Real Estate. (386) 428-5550 or Susan@SamsulaRealEstate.com
