New Smyrna Beach’s City Commission OKs two new developments

New Smyrna Beach’s City Commission OKs two new developments Tuesday night – the first being a 253 unit apartment complex on the southwest corner of Glencoe Road and State Road 44; and the second being a new 745 lot subdivision known as Shell Point Colony which will be located being Venetian Bay and I-95.

According to the Daytona Beach News Journal, one commissioner at the start of the meeting “proposed a four-month moratorium on development at State Road 44.” Whether that will be a topic in an upcoming meeting is yet to be seen.
