The real estate market showed no signs of slowing entering the second month of 2021 with 15% more closed sales over this time last year. The median sale price increased to $289,945 from $270,000 in February of 2020. The average sale price saw a 30.8% increase to $406,856 from $311,084 this time last year. The median time to contract dropped over 50% to 28 days versus 59 days last year. The lack of listings is surely contributing to the higher sale prices… this is definitely a seller’s market so if you have been looking to sell – now is the time!
